Vice President
Connie Holm is the owner of Spa Olivia in Stittsville, Ontario, where she has spent over 20 years refining her approach to beauty and wellness. Known for creating a safe, judgment-free zone, Connie specializes in laser hair removal, waxing, sugaring, and lash lifts. She is excited to be part of the Stittsville Business Association executive, serving as Chair of Member Recruitment and fostering strong, supportive relationships within the local community. As a dedicated business coach, instructor, and mentor, Connie’s commitment to helping other entrepreneurs shines through in her work with Rosegold Learning, which guides small business owners to growth and success. She also hosts “Outside the Treatment Room,” a weekly podcast that mentors and inspires others in the beauty industry by focusing on the business side of running a service-based enterprise.

Al Belanger
Past President
As a proud resident of Stittsville since 1996 and the owner of Tailored Home Improvements, I have deep roots in our community. Alongside my wife, we raised two children who actively participated in the local Stittsville hockey association. With 28 years of residency, I’ve built strong connections with local businesses and developed a robust network throughout the area. As an entrepreneur, I’ve started and grown businesses from the ground up by leveraging expertise in branding, marketing, and growth strategy. My journey has been defined by a passion for building things that last—and supporting others in doing the same.
My time with the Stittsville Business Association has taught me a great deal about our local economy, the unique challenges our businesses face, and the incredible potential that exists when we work together. As President of the SBA, I was committed to doing everything I can to help local businesses grow. Whether it was amplifying their voice, increasing visibility, fostering collaboration, or developing new initiatives that strengthen our local economy, my focus will always be on building something better—for everyone.
Stittsville is a special place, and I believe our business community plays a vital role in shaping its future. Through strong leadership, strategic action, and a renewed sense of community, I was excited to help lead that charge. Together, we make Stittsville stronger, more connected, and more vibrant than ever before.

Rudolf Galan
Treasurer
Rudolf Galan is a Managing Director at Crystal Books, a provider of bookkeeping and payroll services, based in Ottawa, Ontario.
Rudolf has been fascinated with numbers from an early age. While still in high school, he has won first place in Ontario wide accounting competition. He then proceeded to obtain a bachelor of commerce and master of business degrees from Carleton University, while specializing his studies in finance and information technology. After finishing his studies, Rudolf started a firm specialized in computer assisted stock trading systems. He then went on to have his company provide financial and information technology consulting services to other clients throughout Canada. In a few years, his company became a leading provider of classroom training for bookkeeping software, offering training classes in all major North American cities. Thousands of small business owners throughout Canada and USA have benefited from his company’s bookkeeping training classes.
As a Stittsville resident, Rudolf also desires to give back to his community by serving as treasurer of 3 different Stittsville community organizations. When Rudolf is not spending time with his wife and three sons, he may perhaps be seen biking in his neighborhood while listening to Mozart.

Stephanie McLeod
Chair of Events
Stephanie McLeod is a dedicated real estate professional with the Home Bosses Real Estate Team and a community leader with a strong passion for supporting local initiatives in Stittsville and surrounding areas. In addition to her work in real estate, she actively gives back through her involvement in community programs. Stephanie runs the Kanata-Stittsville Stocking Project, helping provide essential items to those in need, and proudly serves as the main sponsor of the Home Bosses Youth Centre, supporting youth development and engagement. She is committed to building meaningful connections, supporting local businesses, and strengthening the community she calls home.

Cindy Massicotte

Cindy has proudly called Stittsville home for more than 30 years. She and her husband chose the community because of its small-town feel and strong sense of connection.
With a background in human resources and sales, Cindy has built strong skills in communication and relationship building. She currently works at Wellings of Stittsville, where she enjoys connecting with residents and local businesses every day.
Cindy is passionate about supporting the vibrant community that has been such an important part of her family’s life and helping Stittsville continue to grow and thrive.
Hannah Rockburn
Co-Chair
Hannah Rockburn, B.Sc., is a licensed Insurance and Investment Advisor and non-profit operations professional with a strong background in leadership development, strategic planning, and client education. She became licensed in January 2025 and works with an independent brokerage that provides personalized insurance and investment solutions tailored to each client’s unique goals and circumstances.
Hannah takes an education-first approach to financial planning, helping individuals and families better understand their options so they can make informed and confident financial decisions. Her work focuses on supporting clients with wealth building, retirement planning, financial protection, and improving overall financial well-being through practical, personalized strategies. She believes financial planning should feel approachable, empowering, and aligned with each person’s long-term goals and values.
In addition to her work in the financial sector, Hannah brings over five years of experience in non-profit administration and program management, primarily within the environmental and community-based sector. Her experience includes governance support, leadership training, strategic planning, and operational management for grassroots organizations across Ontario. Hannah holds a Combined Honours Bachelor of Science in Earth Science and Physical Geography from Carleton University. She currently serves as Board Chair of Greening Sacred Spaces Ottawa. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, gardening, and growing her ever-expanding rock and mineral collection, which has gradually taken over her office.
Christine Harrison

Christine Harrison is a Registered Psychotherapist, Clinic Therapist and healthcare leader with over two decades of experience supporting mental health, wellbeing, and resilience. Her work is grounded in trauma-informed, compassionate care, focusing on helping individuals and communities navigate complexity with confidence and support.
She is the Founder and Clinical Director of Focus Forward Health, multidisciplinary clinics in Stittsville, Kanata and Pembroke, integrating mental health, primary care, women’s health, and lifestyle medicine. Christine’s approach is rooted in the understanding that emotional wellbeing, physical health, and environment are deeply interconnected.
Christine holds a Master of Business Administration in Public Health ontop of her clinical background and brings extensive experience in leadership, strategic planning, governance, and program development. She has led the growth of innovative care models and is passionate about building sustainable, integrated systems that improve access and outcomes in healthcare.
A competitive athlete and advocate for the connection between movement and mental health, Christine blends clinical expertise with lived experience and values-based leadership. Her work focuses on helping individuals and organizations develop practical tools for resilience, emotional regulation, and long-term wellbeing.

As someone who helps manage both Tailored Home Improvements and Legacy Small Engines, I’m deeply invested in the growth and success of Stittsville’s business community. These locally owned and operated businesses have given me firsthand experience with the challenges small businesses face and the role strong community support plays in overcoming them. With five years of accounting experience, I bring a solid foundation in financial management, budgeting, and internal controls—skills that are critical for the Treasurer role. I’ve also self-taught personal finance, business operations, and social media strategy, equipping me with a well-rounded perspective on how to grow and support businesses in the modern age. My passion for entrepreneurship is matched by my passion for Stittsville. I see the Stittsville Business Association as a key player in uniting local businesses, restoring a sense of neighborly loyalty, and creating a thriving ecosystem where every member benefits. I believe there’s untapped potential in how we support our members and engage our community, and I’m eager to help steer that growth in a financially responsible way. As Treasurer, I will ensure transparency, accountability, and strategic planning in every financial decision. Christine is the Stittsville Business Association Administrator. A seasoned Virtual Assistant based in Stittsville, Ontario, Christine has over 25 years of executive administrative experience and has supported membership-based organizations including the Mental Health Professionals of Ottawa and Attractions Ontario among her diverse portfolio. She is specialized in executive support, event planning, marketing coordination, social media management, continuing education, marketing, and content creation. Christine is known for her strong creative and analytical skills, attention to detail, and collaborative approach.
