I was born and raised in a small community west of Kingston, Ontario, where I developed at a young age a strong belief in the power of communities to have a positive impact on people’s lives. As the daughter of parents who spent countless hours giving back to that community, I have carried that example with me into my adulthood, and I am constantly looking for ways to make a positive impact on my own community. As the former owner and operator of Rainbow Foods – a natural health retailer formerly with three locations and a team of over 90 employees – I am an experienced business owner and entrepreneur. While operating Rainbow Foods, I was recognized several times for my contributions as a local small business owner, including being the recipient in 2018 of the Ottawa Board of Trade’s Forty Under 40 award. After successfully selling Rainbow Foods in late 2020, I ventured into a new career and now work full time as a licensed real estate agent. This new career enables me to continue to work within and for our community and surrounding areas. Now, as a proud resident of this beautiful community, a mother of three young girls and a seasoned
business owner, I will bring knowledge and experience to the Stittsville Business Association and the community as a whole.

Cody Campanale entered the Real Estate business with an enriched understanding of real estate in Ottawa; after all, his father Vince and uncles Rocco & Tony ran one of the top real estate brokerages and in Ottawa for over 40 years. He’s the son of Vince Campanale, a founder of Ottawa’s premier new-home developer, Campanale Homes, so he has the benefit of understanding residential and commercial construction as well. Growing up, I played competitive hockey in Blackburn Hamlet, a small community on the edge of Orleans. Every year my dad dreaded the trip to Stittsville because we’d go all the way out just to have “our lunches handed to us” – Stittsville always had a very strong team. After graduating university, I lived in Orleans. Upon the arrival of my third son, it was apparent that we had outgrown the house and started to look to homebuilders in the area. There was one caveat; the backyard needed to be big enough to allow for an outdoor rink. In the fifteen years that I have lived in Stittsville I have coached over 25 youth teams and still play in the Stittsville Men’s Hockey League. Professionally, I spent over a decade at Export Development Canada (EDC) in the Small Business Financial Solutions branch. I am currently using that knowledge and experience gained to protect many Stittsville businesses, as a Commercial Insurance Advisor at BrokerLink (previously Bradley’s Insurance) on Stittsville Main Street. I am passionate about helping Stittsville businesses thrive in this community that I love.

Mandy Faulkner
Director at Large
I’m Mandy Faulkner (she/her) and I am the owner and operator (along with my partner Daniel) of @ the Barn which hosts Stittsville’s very own Farmer’s Market. I am also a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and owner of Faulkner Family Nutrition. When the little log barn went up for sale a couple of years ago, I jumped at the opportunity to bring my passions together. Our health is not only impacted by the food we eat, but also the community in which we surround ourselves with. That’s why it’s been so important to focus on bringing local, sustainable, organic farmers to our market while helping facilitate relationships between farmer/producer/maker and community.
